Recently, our General Transportation (GT) team successfully executed the transportation of dozer components from Chennai Port to Barbil, Odisha. This project involved moving 29 dozers, totaling an impressive weight of 250 MT, which were imported in seven separate shipments.

The logistics of receiving the dozers and mining components posed a unique challenge, as the components were delivered on the hook and required immediate movement upon unloading. Any idle time on the ground could have led to operational delays, making it crucial for our team to coordinate every aspect of the process seamlessly.

With strategic planning and the expertise of our experienced specialists, the NTC team rose to the occasion. Utilizing a diverse range of 83 vehicles, including Low Bed Trailers (LBT), Super Low Bed Trailers (SLBT), High Bed Trailers (HBT), and Low Platform Trailers (LPT), we executed the logistics flawlessly. Our team worked around the clock to ensure that the dozer components were unloaded and transported without delay, maintaining the highest safety and efficiency standards.
