NTC Logistics recently accomplished another milestone by successfully transporting an Over Dimensional Cargo (ODC) — a massive generator stator — from Haridwar, Uttarakhand, to Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. This challenging operation involved navigating a distance of 3,634 kilometers and transporting a stator measuring 9.08 meters in length, 4.36 meters in width, and an impressive 4.3 meters in height. The transportation journey was carried out using a specialized 20-line Goldhofer axle trailer, underscoring NTC’s capacity to handle complex and oversized cargo with precision and expertise.

This project required detailed planning and an advanced logistical strategy due to the generator stator’s unique dimensions and weight. From conducting route surveys to identify possible obstacles, to working closely with regional authorities for the necessary permits, our team meticulously addressed every detail. The challenging route, spanning from the industrial heartland of Haridwar in the north to the port city of Tuticorin in the south, required innovative solutions for diverse terrains, bridge clearances, and safety protocols to ensure a smooth passage.

We utilized our best-in-class equipment and highly trained crew to guarantee the cargo remained secure and stable over the long distance.
