NTC Logistics was awarded the project to transport Desalination Condensers with 60m Boiler Drums for one of the customers. The cargoes, weighing 120MT each, were moved on specialized 10-axle carriers to the Tuticorin port and were confronted with numerous challenges.

The centre of gravity of the consignments was located close to one side of the Boiler Drum, and it was tricky to balance the load on roads. Besides, there were tapered roads and sharp turns in several areas. Toll structures were removed and the electrical lines had to be temporarily grounded throughout the route. With the extensively experienced team of NTC’s technicians, these challenges were overcome.
