NTC Logistics is proud to reaffirm our position as a pioneer in renewable energy logistics, successfully executing a critical project in Sri Lanka for the installation of 120 MW Power Generation Wind Turbines (WTGs). In an impressive feat, our dedicated Renewable Team completed the installation of 10 wind turbines within a record timeline of just one month. This accomplishment not only reflects our operational efficiency but also underscores our commitment to sustainability in energy production.

The entire operation was executed by our experienced team utilizing NTC’s own assets, showcasing our capability to manage complex logistics projects. Despite facing significant challenges, including the geographical constraints of the site and the stringent deadlines imposed by the project, our team exhibited unwavering determination and resilience. The COVID-19 pandemic posed additional hurdles, yet our “never die” attitude ensured that the project continued to progress without compromising safety or quality.

Our project management was conducted on a turnkey basis, encompassing multiple facets of logistics. From transportation origins in India, China, and Denmark to the nearest ports, vessel chartering, and port handling in India, we ensured smooth operations at every stage. Our team also managed customs clearance efficiently and coordinated the transportation from Trincomalee and Colombo ports directly to the site. Site handling and the erection of the WTGs were executed with precision, adhering strictly to all safety protocols.
