ODC Driver Training
Driving Excellence in Heavy Logistics, Safely and Skillfully
Specialized Training for Heavy-Duty Drivers
NTC Training Academy LLP, part of the NTC Group, is setting new standards in driver education, focusing on training for Over-Dimensional Cargo (ODC) and heavy logistics. Accredited by prestigious organizations such as the NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) and the LSC (Logistics Sector Skill Council), the academy is the first of its kind in India to offer specialized ODC driver training.
Expert Training in ODC Driving and Vehicle Safety
The ODC Driver Training program equips drivers with the knowledge and skills required to handle heavy-duty logistics safely and efficiently. The training includes in-depth instruction on ODC driving techniques, vehicle safety, and technical maintenance. This practical training ensures that drivers can handle complex logistical challenges while maintaining the highest safety standards for both cargo and the public.
Driving Safety and Stress Management
Beyond technical skills, the academy prioritizes the well-being of its drivers. Courses on stress management, yoga, and safe driving habits help drivers manage the mental and physical demands of their profession. Firefighting, first aid, and fuel conservation training further enhance their ability to operate in high-risk environments while maintaining a commitment to safety.
Women's Empowerment in Driver Training
We proudly champions gender inclusivity in the transportation industry with specialized training programs for women, led by Mrs. Saranya, who heads the Heavy Motor Vehicle Training program. Breaking new ground in Indian logistics, Mrs. Saranya is the first woman to oversee such a program and the only one in India qualified to handle Over-Dimensional Cargo (ODC) vehicles and driver training. Her exceptional contributions were honored by the Rotary Club of Chennai UTSAV with the “Woman of Excellence” award in 2021, presented by District Governor Mr. Muthu Palaniappan. This initiative reflects NTC’s commitment to empowering women in logistics, fostering equal opportunities, and inspiring future leaders in the field.
