Handling 40-meter-long Over-Dimensional Cargo (ODC) on Indian roads presents a formidable challenge, particularly when transporting colossal packages across multiple states. NTC Logistics, a leader in project logistics services, has streamlined this process to ensure efficiency and safety.

Recently, our expert team successfully managed the transportation of two-man washer tower sections and two reciting tower sections from Hazira to Barmer. The dimensions of the cargo were 39.6m x 6.00m x 6.6m and 43.34m x 5.7m x 6.4m, with respective weights of 190MT and 210MT. To facilitate this monumental movement, we deployed two specialized Volvo pullers—one equipped with 19 axles plus frame and the other with 17 axles plus frame.

One of the most significant challenges encountered during this operation was the Biparjoy Cyclone, which impacted the final leg of the transportation. However, our dedicated team adeptly managed the adverse weather conditions, implementing contingency plans to ensure the safe delivery of the cargo.

The entire transportation process spanned 60 days, during which our team of experts meticulously adhered to stringent safety protocols.
