At NTC Logistics, we take immense pride in breaking new ground with our recent project at Paradip Port, Odisha—a port primarily known for coal handling. In a remarkable achievement, NTC successfully managed the first-ever project cargo vessel to dock at the port in the last decade, setting a significant milestone in its operations. This vessel was the largest of its category to arrive at Paradip Port in over ten years, and we were entrusted with delivering end-to-end logistics solutions for this critical movement.

NTC provides a comprehensive suite of services, including Vessel Agency, Stevedoring, Port Handling, Custom House Agent (CHA) services, and the transportation of over-dimensional cargo (ODC) consignments. To handle the complexity of this project, we deployed 94 mechanical vehicles and 10 hydraulic axle vehicles, expertly managing the movement of 322 packages spanning 12,000 cubic meters (CBM). Among these packages, 10 were heavy and ODC cargo, requiring specialized care and precision.

Our General Transportation team worked tirelessly over the course of 25 days at Paradip Port, ensuring the seamless unloading and onward transportation of the cargo to its final destination in Talcher, Odisha. From the moment the vessel arrived at the harbor, NTC’s team overcame numerous challenges within the port and along the transport route, maintaining safety and efficiency throughout.

This intricate operation required meticulous planning and coordination. By working closely with port authorities, customs officials, and the client’s consignees, we ensured smooth execution at every stage. The success of this project stands as a testament to NTC’s expertise in handling large-scale, complex logistics movements with precision and care.
